Iaido is one of Japan’s oldest martial arts. We are members of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu (MJER) Iaido, Seitokai, (Orthodox Association) which is the main line of MJER Iaido in Japan. The 23rd consecutive Soke (Grand Master) of MJER is Fukui Masato Sensei, and he is also the President of the Zen Nihon Iaido Renmei (ZNIR, All Japan Iaido Federation). We are also part of the Beikoki Tendai Iaido Kai LLC (BTIK) in the United States.

Beginners are welcome. Loose fitting workout clothing is all that is needed to start. A wooden training sword is used at the beginning. Eventually, the student will need to obtain standard Iaido clothing call a Keiko Gi, Hakama, and Obi. An approved Iaito unsharpened training sword will also be needed once the student graduates from the wooden training sword.
